Free range bacon nitrate free

Was searching for a Australian free range bacon nitrate free on the internet and springhill came up just liked the sound of this company. Buy bacon from the local supermarkets that state's 14% Australian ingredients makes you think it's a long way from Europe America or Canada for this food to travel and in what process.my
parcel arrived in abut 8 days from ordering but they only deliver on a thusday in my area . What I liked was that each 500G pack was vacumed sealed so I can put s
traight in the freezer. When I need bacon I just take out of the freezer and put in the fridge the night before. The next morning i cut open the bag trim of the thin peace of rind.what I don't use I put in a food vacuum container and seal to keep it fresher. The bacon looks a much better colour and tastes alot more fresher than from a supermarket. Can you justify the extra cost
absolutely for me it's 30klm round trip to the supermarket but for me it's the quality of where it has come from and the conditions it was in.Bill.B
